2011-2012 Algebra II

Welcome to Algebra 2

The Algebra II course serves as the foundation course for advanced studies in mathematics.   This course will expand students’ knowledge of functions to include exponential and logarithmic and power functions by examining real world problems.  Successful completion provides a gateway for college level mathematics.  Pre-requisites for this course are Algebra I with a “C” or better and Geometry.

This webpage is designed to help students to stay on track with assignments and classnotes, use as a reference to assist in knowledge of mathematical concepts, and to assist students who are absent or referred to home teaching to gain a solid prospective of the lessons.  A majority of everything on this webpage will either be discussed in class or is seen as a good resource of the day's lesson.

My goal is to motivate and encourage you as you work dilligently and enthusiastically to master the many different topics within each mathematical concepts.  I look forward to having you in my class and hope you enjoy this course and all that it has to offer.
